Steele/Burnand Anza-Borrego Desert Research Center University of California, Irvine

The Steele/Burnand Anza-Borrego Desert Research Center (SBABDRC), housed in a former country club, is located adjacent to the park in the town of Borrego Springs. An agreement with Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and the Anza-Borrego Foundation makes the park available to reserve users.  Facilities include a Main hall, 2 classrooms, researcher and student accommodations, laboratory, and kitchen.
