Rams Hill is Growing into a Southern California Golf-Getaway Destination

Sublime golf, outstanding course conditions, desert beauty and friendly service await at Rams Hill Golf Club in Borrego Springs, just a two-hour drive from San Diego. Designed by Tom Fazio in the shadow of Southern California’s picturesque Anza-Borrego State Park and resurrected as a resort course six years ago with the help of the up-and-coming team at Jackson-Kahn Design, Rams Hill is known for wide fairways and undulating greens that deliver playability, strategy, and challenge.

And now, with the 2019–2020 season under way, traveling golfers are discovering Rams Hill’s overnight accommodations and stay-and-play packages for groups of all sizes, ranging from the “buddy trip-friendly” House on the Hill (overlooking the 15th hole) to our nearby resort partner La Casa Del Zorro Desert Resort. And for groups looking for an especially high-end getaway, Rams Hill also rents the Happy Days Estate (five bedrooms, five bathrooms) as a stay-and-play option.

As “prime season” quickly approaches (March—April are the months in highest demand at Rams Hill), the club is offering “Play Until Dark” stay-and-play packages that include advance booking of premium morning tee times and afternoon replay in addition to lodging, breakfast, and dinner.
