It's Memorial Day Weekend! Perfect time to a visit to Borrego Springs and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Stop by the Sate Park Visitor Center for maps, books, and the latest information for visiting the park. For a primer stroll the interpretive trail (ADA compliant). Then get ready to be awed. Take the crew to Fonts Point. Marvel at the "Sky Art" sculptures scattered around the valley. "Sky Art" maps available at the Visitors Center, and from Anza-Borrego Foundation and Anza Borrego Desert Natural History Center stores. Be awed by the night sky. Borrego Springs is a designated "Dark Skies Community". Explore Blair Valley. Go off road with over 400 miles of dirt roads, open for street legal vehicles only, four-wheel drive, high clearance. When the exploring is done, get ready to dine, and enjoy a beverage, in town along Palm Canyon Drive (in alphabetical order, because they are all our favorites) Carlee's, Carmelita's, Epicurious, Pablitos...or go "retro" at The Arches Restaurant and Bar at Borrego Springs Resort.
