With over 400 miles of unpaved roads to explore getting off road to places like Coyote Canyon, Blair Valley and Fish Creek, to name a few, is an unparalleled experience here in Anza-Borrego. To get out there though you’ll need a Park required highway legal vehicle, and our recommended, one that is 4x4 with high clearance. Remember to check road conditions at the Anza-Borrego Desert state park Visitors center or check on line at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.  If you’d rather leave the driving to them, Borrego Springs based California Overland run  superlative day and overnight desert excursions, fully outfitted and guided, to Coyote Canyon and other remote venues in the Park.
