Will Winter Showers bring Spring Flowers?

Can’t be sure but we do hope the rains in September, October, and most recently this week will bring on the bloom in Spring 2023. Meanwhile…. we have a surprising and beautiful, if somewhat patchy, showing of verbena and desert sunflowers. Easy to see off DiGiorgio Road, Henderson Canyon Road, and on Lute Ridge (off of S22 beginning about a mile after the Font’s Point turnoff. Look for the parking turnoff on north side of highway).
