Located just one hour east of downtown San Diego, this unspoiled location is one of San Diego’s best kept secrets. In the heart of the Cleveland National Forest, Mount Laguna stands at 6,000 feet above sea level.

The mountain is the perfect playground for hiking, mountain biking, camping, family activities, star gazing, or just relaxing.

The Lodge

The Laguna Mountain Lodge is a place to get away from it all and enjoy peace, quiet & the beauty of nature.  It’s a great family place with rustic charm, that transports you to simpler times.

Laguna Mountain Lodge offers affordable accommodations featuring 17 cabins and 12 motel units. Comfortably equipped with fireplaces, cooking facilities, barbecues, satellite tv, wi-fi and full baths.

Our general store & gift shop, built in the 1930’s, is a must stop and the front porch is a haven for Laguna visitors. We brew a fresh coffee every morning & hot chocolate in the winter. And yes, we have snow apparel, sleds & much more. If you need it, we probably have it!

We stock groceries, camping supplies, beer & wine. We also carry firewood, fireplace logs & charcoal. Our Gift Shop features a variety of items including Native American gifts, jewelry, T-shirts, handmade wooden boxes & plaques.
