Nomination Guidelines
The Borrego Experience Geotourism program, a partnership program led by the Borrego Village Association, is creating an interactive website featuring unique and authentic visitor experiences in Borrego Springs and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
Geotourism is “tourism that sustains or enhances the geographical character of a place – its environment, culture, aesthetics, heritage and the well-being of its residents.” In other words, the Borrego Experience Geotourism Project invites people who care to visit here and help us support what makes the Borrego Valley so special.
An Opportunity for You!
The best travel advice comes from people who live here. We are inviting residents, community organizations, tourism stakeholders and local businesses to help identify the places and experiences that capture the unique character and beauty of Borrego Springs and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
Complete an online or print Nomination Form to make suggestions for the Borrego Experience website. Your nominations will provide the basis for a website that will tell the story of the Borrego region and its attractions.
