The International Aerobatic Club Chapter 36 San Diego Hammerheads are back in the skies April 28 – April 30 at the Borrego Valley Airport for the annual Spring Roundup competition. Bring your umbrellas and lawn chairs to enjoy this amazing three-day competition.

Can’t be sure but we do hope the rains in September, October, and most recently this week will bring on the bloom in Spring 2023. Meanwhile…. we have a surprising and beautiful, if somewhat patchy, showing of verbena and desert sunflowers.

Late fall, early winter is a magical time here in Borrego country. Cool nights and comfortable daytime temperatures are perfect for hiking. You don’t have to travel too deep into Anza-Borrego Desert State Park for some incredible scenery.
